Sometimes there’s a voice in the back of your head telling you to give your custom character another good look when you’re already about twenty hours or so into the game. You let the voices win only to find out that your eyes don’t match the trimmings of your clothes, for people with no patience this is probably a good enough reason to start the game all over again.

This questionable attention to detail has taken countless hours from fellow gamers and it is only our due diligence to make sure it doesn’t happen to you with this guide!

How to Change Appearance | Hair, Face & Body in Wild Hearts

Wild Hearts has extensive character customization, yes which means you’ll take about two to three hours before you progress into the game itself due to the number of sliders you can mess with. The most important part, however, is to be able to do it whenever you want. Which you can!

If you want to change your appearance mid-game then the Karakuri is your best friend.

Progress through the game enough to unlock the Looking Glass Dragon Karakuri, this will show you your image as if you were in the character customization screen again. You can only use it in Minato however.

Go through your Karakuri until you find the one that resembles a mirror and plop it down where you want, as long as it’s in Minato.

After that, it’s just a matter of pressing L2 or your Left Trigger to have the game take you back to the customization screen.

And that’s it! No need to restart, all that needs to be done is progress the game enough to unlock the feature again and you can make all the changes necessary as you go!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
