New World has a new update and with it comes a new Season and the first Season of many. That’s right New World now has Seasons and with it came a lot of new stuff including a Season Pass! This new big update also comes with some changes to weapons and such so naturally, the meta is changing and shifting yet again.

Best In Slot Musket Season 1 of New World
There are a lot of new changes to the game with the new Season and with it the meta changes. Though some things stay the same, and if you’re a musket user and have been following the meta, you’d be happy to know that the armor remains the same for this update.
That means you can keep your gear with Crippling Powder Burn, Empowering Explosive Arrow, Refreshing, Empowering Shooter’s Stance, Resilient, and Elemental Aversion for Armor is still the meta.
For Amulets, they stay the same with Thrust Protection, Health, and Stamina Recovery.
Now here are the changes to the Best in Slot gear:
- Ring: Keen Awareness, Burning and Invigorating Punishment.
- Earring: Regenerating, Purifying Toast, Refreshing Toast.
- Musket: Arboreal IV, Enchanted, Accuracy, Arboreal Attunement.
- Bow: Arboreal IV, Vicious, Keenly Empowered, Flame Attunement. (Cut Pristine Amber)
- Runeglass: Sighted Thrust Ward
- Skills: Swap Sniper with GreaterAccuracy
