As a soldier on the field, it is critical that you take all the measures that you can to survive. After all, Gray Zone Warfare can get quite hardcore, since the shooting mechanics in the game can be quite unforgiving. As a result, having the best weapons on hand can be a make or break factor.
So, in this guide, we’ll be showing some great weapon builds that we recommend that you try out for yourself. They address a variety of different play styles, so rest assured you’ll be able to find something that you like. With that said, let’s get into the Best Weapons Builds guide!
Best Weapon Builds Guide
In this Gray Zone Warfare guide, we’ll be looking at a total of 4 different weapon builds. They will primarily be built from parts that can be purchased from two vendors: Artisan and Gunny.
Keep in mind that all three of these vendors will need to be Level 2. If you haven’t fulfilled these requirements, we recommend doing tasks for both of these vendors. You’ll be able to get 100-200 Reputation from fulfilling tasks for each of them.
You can find a bunch of tasks laid out in our All Mithras Tasks Guide – including how to complete them.
With that said, let’s get into each of the Weapon builds in Gray Zone Warfare. Feel free to use the Table of Contents below if you’re only interested in a particular weapon build.
Best M4 Build
We mentioned two types of builds for different situations when using the M4 Build in our Best M4 Builds guide. They’re both really strong builds that we encourage you to check out.
However, we have modified both these builds to create an M4 that is suitable for both long and short range. Additionally, it has such a tight recoil pattern that the M4 will start feeling like a laser beam. It also has both semi and full auto options, making it ideal for both short range and long-range battles.
The M4 build we have for you has the following stats:
- Accuracy – 1.83 MOA
- Recoil Control – +33%
- Arm Stamina Drain – -5%
- Weapon Handling – -11%
- Reload Time – -9%.
To make this M4 build in Gray Zone Warfare, you’ll need to first get a standard M4 rifle. After that, you’ll be making the following part changes to it:
- AR – 15 16’’ Barrel
- SOCOM 3 Prong Flash Hider
- SOCOM556 RC1 Suppressor
- Mod Pistol Grip
- AR-15 JPGS-10D Gas Block
- DD RIS II 12 Handguard
- DD Adjustable Buttstock
- SpecterDR 1-4x Assault Scope – Adjustable depending on short or long battle
- AR-15 GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle
- Shift Vertical Foregrip.
You can get all of these parts from the Level 2 Vendors, and we strongly recommend you get them if you’re going to run an M4.
Best Mosin Build (Sniper)
Next up, we’ll be looking at a sniper build that has the capability to one shot enemies. This is the Mosin sniper, which actually has some really good base stats as well. You can also refer to our Best Sniper Build guide if you want some additional useful insights!
It fires really cleanly as well, especially if you use a low zoom scope. However, the choice of scope is really up to you, depending on the range from which you’ll be using the sniper. We can modify this already excellent Mosin in Gray Zone Warfare and make it even better. Starting off, you’ll need to purchase the correct Mosin sniper – as there are two of them available.
You’ll want to get the Mosin (S) from Artisan – which is longer and much more expensive, costing 2,120 USD. The extra price will be more than worth it however with better accessories and modification options.
Once you have the Mosin Sniper, you’ll need to add the following parts to it:
- Mosin Archangel Stock
- Tri Rail Scope Mount
- Large Mosin Magazine (10 Bullet Capacity)
- SpecterDR 1-4x Assault Scope.
When you have all these parts on the Mosin Sniper, you’ll get the following stats on it:
- Accuracy – 1.47 MOA
- Recoil Control – +8%
- Arm Stamina Drain – +6%
- Weapon Handling – -8%
- Reload Time – +0%.
Best AKMN Build
Moving on, we’ll be looking at another great rifle in the form of the AKMN. The AKMN uses 7.62 ammo instead of the 5.56 ammo that the M4 uses. As a result, you are firing a bigger caliber gun that has more of a punch.
However, it lacks recoil control compared to the tight spray of the M4 – even if the recoil is manageable. Nonetheless, if you are an AKMN fan, you’re not going to get a much better build in Gray Zone Warfare than what we have for you.
With that said, here are the parts that you’ll be replacing onto the standard AKMN so that you can improve it:
- AK RP-1 Charging Handle
- Archangel AK-Series Pistol Grip
- AKM Zhukov Adapter
- AK Zhukov Stock
- Shift Vertical Foregrip
- AK Moe Handguard
- M-Lok Rail – 9 Slot (If you want mount for foregrip).
Here are the stats that you’ll find on this improved AKMN build:
- Accuracy – 3.5 MOA
- Recoil Control – +19%
- Arm Stamina Drain – -8%
- Weapon Handling – +4%
- Reload Time – -8%.
Best SKS Build
You can actually create quite a strong SKS build with the Level 2 vendors in Gray Zone Warfare. The SKS we’ve managed to build can be used as a semi auto rifle that fires like an absolute laser beam, even if you spam the shooting. You will feel almost non-existent recoil.
Additionally, the SKS build we have for you can also be managed with a pretty decent budget. So, if you feel like the M4 or AKMN builds are too expensive, this SKS build will be much easier on your wallet.
So, for those looking out for a great SKS build with Level 2 vendors, you’ll need to use the following parts as replacements:
- SKS Sabretooth MK11 Stock (replaces default SKS Stock)
- SKS Rear Sight Picatinny Rail
- MOD Pistol Grip (FDE)
- Shift Vertical Foregrip
- M4 Buffer Tube
- DD Adjustable Buttstock.
By modifying the SKS, you’ll now see that it has the following stats:
- Accuracy – 3.2 MOA
- Recoil Control – +21%
- Arm Stamina Drain – -5%
- Weapon Handling – +4%
- Reload Time – +0%.
That’s everything you need to know about the Best Weapon Builds that you can make in Gray Zone Warfare. We strongly encourage you to try out these builds, as they’ll take your combat to the next level – especially in the harder tasks. Speaking of hard tasks, you can try out these weapon builds in the The Man Who Disappeared Quest, where you’ll be clearing out an entire hotel of enemies!
