Keeping and maintaining a consistent amount of players is always key when it comes to successful MMORPG titles. New World is finally joining in on that play after many failures and setbacks, but the players stuck with it, even if it meant lowering their graphics settings just to keep the game at a silky cinema smooth 24 fps.

That’s probably a stretch, but what isn’t a stretch is the new Spring Event and the rewards that are coming with it! What better way to keep yourself in the loop than to be in that loop before it even starts looping?

Full Spring Event Guide – New World

Before I go insane with the layers of jokes I’m failing to keep up with, the main event for Spring would be the patterns you’re going to get for participating.

There are more things to look forward to so if you’re hurting to return to Aeternum give the guide a good read to find out more about the rewards in store for you.

So in order to participate in this event you will first make your way to the settlements in each territory, much like with other events the town center has been redecorated to match the event. Interact with these to receive your diamond gypsum as well as some wispy spritz.

You’ll be needing these items to participate in the event so be sure to go to every settlement to collect them.

There are also 4 event camps set up in different regions of the map: Monarch’s Bluffs, Windsward, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Brightwood.

Go to any one of these places to receive a sack containing some coins once each day.

With those freebies out of the way you can now talk to The Bloom Herald, you’ll receive a short chain quest to explain to you how the event works.

If you look at the map you will find these Wisplyblooms scattered almost everywhere, these flowers are easy to find as they show up on your map and are excessively large. Gathering them seems easy enough if you can get through the angry Wispy Wasps guarding them.

They’re not completely invincible however, all you have to do is not get in their way until you can plant Wispy Spritz on the spots surrounding the Wisplybloom. You’ll be able to tell where these need to be planted as there’s light emanating from the ground.

These are basically plastic explosives that you need to plant two to three times to get rid of the wasps guarding the flower. Get the Wispy Wasp Goo that they drop as you will be needing that for this event.

After you’ve collected the petals return to one of the event caravans and turn in what you’ve got for event tokens.

One Wispy Wasp Goo is equal to one premium token while five petals get you one regular token. You can keep doing this by making more Wispy Spritz as long as you have enough fibers, honey, and fire motes.

Now for the rewards, first you have three event-related consumables:

  • Springtide Dram – Grants constitution and luck based on your character’s level.
  • Springtide Wafer – Grants attributes and increases the number of petals you receive while harvesting event flowers.
  • Springtide Crumble – Increases your constitution by 33 for 25 minutes.

For Tier 2 you have event-themed dyes and a wide selection of schematics for gear.

For Tier 3 you can get a Beekeeper’s Jacket and Springtime Ruffles for a chest skin. You also have emotes, a few pieces of decorations, and the guaranteed 600 patterns that are slowly becoming a normal reward for every event.

And that’s it for the Spring Event, if you want to let the locals know that you’re a fashion enjoyer then feel free to change the color of your armor set with the dyes you just got.

Now start grinding, those wasps won’t explode on their own you know!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
