The worst thing about RPG’s is when you have too many things in your inventory. It will make your inventory all bloated and full of things that you don’t need, and it will make finding items and gears that you want very hard to do. Luckily, we have inventory filtering in modern RPG games. With this little system, we can sort our inventory to the way we want it to be sorted. In New World, we have access to an inventory filtering system as well. In this guide, we show you how to use that inventory filtering system.
Inventory Filtering Guide – New World
How to use your inventory filter
When you go through your inventory or storages, you will have that little search bar at the top of the screen. There, you can type in names of items, gear sets, gear score, and even if they are infused gear or not. You will then get a collection of gears or items that showcase the traits or words you input in the search bar.
There is also the + and – filter options. With those two, you can filter out items that you do not want included. For example, -hand will not show any gear that has “hand” in the name. The opposite is for using +. When you use +hand, it will prioritize items with “hand” in the string.
Huge thanks to Xtarsia for the information on how to use the filtering system for inventory and storage.
