New World will soon have a new patch that addresses the salvaging issues since day one of its release, and players have been hearing about a Perfect Salvage. What is this patch going to change with respect to salvaging, expertise and trade skill?
Look no further, we are here to lay it all out for you. Let’s dive in!
Perfect Salvage Guide | Faster Expertise & Faster Trade Skill Level – New World
New World players know that salvaging is pretty much meaningless at endgame. At last, our prayers have been answered by the developers. With this update, salvaging will be more rewarding through the introduction of Perfect Salvages.
When you salvage an item, you have a chance to perform a perfect salvage. This mechanic rewards player with research materials, special orbs, materials for special item fabrication, and many more. Salvaging items give you scraps or fragments related to the item you salvaged and the quality of these items ranges in tiers.
With these items, you can now craft training manuals or research notes which provide huge trade skill experience boost.
In addition to that, you can now craft boxes of materials associated with the tier of the fragments. You can expect to receive rare resources like Asmodeum or Glitter ebony from these boxes.
Another feature that is coming to New World is the new Gypsum box. You can now craft Gypsum orbs using weapon fragments which you can use to trade it with unique Gypsum box. This will lead to doubling players expertise on particular items. Allowing players to craft two casts per day per slot is without a doubt a huge buff in gaining expertise. In short, you can now get up to 800 Umbral Shard.
This is very good for players who are newer to the endgame or players who is taking a short break to catch up with other players.
To summarize, this update gives more meaning to salvaging and farming in a significant way. Many thanks to 5 Head Survival Gaming for this in-depth explanation of the upcoming patch, make sure to visit his video for more details.
