Build your stronghold and prosper in a mysterious, open world that is always changing. There are cool features you can explore in the game, and one of these is the servants.
When it comes to gathering resources over time in V Rising, servants are an extremely useful feature. They can help you gather resources to build your castle, particularly if you are playing alone. Those servants can significantly speed up the process. However, there are different kinds of minions in the game and each of them has different attributes. In this guide, we are going to talk about the best minions for PvP and gathering loot.

Servant Guide
By completing the game’s regular tutorial, you can gain access to servants in V Rising. Yet, there are a few more things you should know about the servants to get the most out of your minions. Let us first talk about how to get a servant, and the different kinds of servants, then, we will continue with the best minions for PvP and gathering loot.
How To Obtain A Coffin For A Servant
First things first, you are going to need a coffin to get yourself a servant. After all, every servant needs a coffin to rest in when they are tired!
Lucky for you, this part is not difficult at all. Indeed, the game will automatically take you there. While playing the tutorial, you are going to come to a part where you get your first servant. Then, all you are going to do will be show them their coffin at your castle.
Once you have taken them to their coffin and allowed it to turn them into your servant, you can use the Castle Throne to give them orders.

How to Get a Servant
Begin by completing the tutorial mission located in the upper left corner of the game. You are going to eventually reach the stage where you can control a human by doing this.
After that, hold down the left control and pick the Dominate Human ability to activate it. With this skill, you can shoot a projectile at a human and turn it into a servant.
When the person’s health falls below thirty percent, use your skill to dominate them. After they have been defeated, you can return to your base and bury them in a servant coffin. Then, after around 20 to 40 minutes, the restrained human will convert into your servant.
The highest level of the Castle Heart determines the maximum number of servants. Make sure to use servant lock doors on the outside of your castle/territory. Any doors that are not servant lock door types can be opened and closed by servants at will. A single Castle Heart can accommodate nine servant coffins, allowing you to have up to nine servants at your fingertips.

Different Types of Servants
In V Rising, there are several kinds of servants. The blood kinds of the servants are used to classify them and determine what positions are most appropriate for them.
- Tenacious Strength (Brute Blood): Fit for tasks involving the collection of minerals and ores from quarries.
- Military Tactics (Warrior Blood): Perfect for boss locations or fortified places if you want to produce manufactured items.
- Sacred Resistance (Scholar Blood): Scholar blood minions work best on missions that produce a range of valuable crafting materials, which are usually found near hazardous elemental conditions like lightning, garlic, or holy radiation.
- Tracking Expertise (Rogue Blood): Beneficial in missions involving the collection of monster or undead parts, animal hides, and other materials.
- Humble Appearance (Draculin and Worker Blood): Used for tasks in towns or other civilized locations to collect food, clothing, money, or items dependent on knowledge.

How to Send Servants to Hunt
Hunts are tasks that you can send your servants on to collect resources. There are various hunts available in different areas, and each is appropriate for a particular blood type of minions. Each hunt’s outcome depends on your servant’s equipment, benefits, and how long the mission lasts.
When minions are sent on hunts, they can find materials including food, cash, textiles, ores, minerals, and knowledge-based commodities. For each hunt, it is crucial to select the appropriate blood type of minion in order to reduce the difficulty level and increase the effectiveness of gathering resources.
Apart from the blood type, the NPC’s expertise, gear, and faction all matter; for example, they are going to do better if they are from the same region as the task you are sending them on.

Gear Level, Expertise & Hunt Proficiency
A servant’s Gear Level and expertise determine how strong they are. In general, Gear Level increases Servants’ maximum health and damage (power) in the same percentage as it does for players.
With the exception of the cape and headpiece, they have all the same equipment slots accessible. A servant’s gear level is the sole statistic that counts. All other equipment stats, such as durability level and set bonuses, are insignificant.
Some hunts are more efficient and risk-free than others, they allow you to maximize your time and in-game gains. By assigning servants to designated zones, you can optimize resource gathering and reduce gaming risks while increasing efficiency.
Resources differ throughout zones, and depending on the amount of time invested and the in-game prizes, certain hunts are more valuable than others. The deployment of servants to various areas, such as cotton farms, quartz quarries, and iron mines, can be strategically planned to provide a consistent supply of resources necessary for advancement.
How to Get Skill and Equipment to Make Effective Minions
You must understand skill and equipment quality if you want your minions to be as successful as possible. From 0% to a maximum of about 44-45%, expertise improves a number of stats, including damage, health, loot, and hunt competence. When a minion is captured in the game, its blood quality determines its level of competence; higher blood quality corresponds to higher expertise.
The quality of the gear is also important. Better gear increases the stats of minions, increasing their effectiveness in base defense and hunting. A minion with greater skill and better equipment, for instance, will have more health and be able to inflict more damage than one with lesser skill and inferior equipment.
It is crucial to remember that a minion drops their equipment if they are destroyed in combat, thus you need to be careful what equipment you equip them with. On the other hand, it might be a smart strategy to invade someone else’s base and concentrate on beating their servants in order to take their superior equipment.

- Dunley Farmlands (Dunley Farmlands Hunter): Increases the loot collected from hunts in Dunley Farmlands by 20%.
- Cursed Forest (Cursed Forest Hunter): 20% more loot can be obtained from successful hunts in Cursed Forest.
- Silverlight Hills (Silverlight Hunter): Raises the loot obtained from profitable hunts in Silverlight Hills by 20%.
- Gloomrot (Gloomrot Hunter): Increases the loot obtained from successful hunts in Gloomrot by 20%.
- Ruins of Mortium (Ruins of Mortium Hunter): Enhances the quantity of treasure obtained from fruitful hunts in Ruins of Mortium by 20%.

Best Servants in Each Location
As previously discussed, different types of minions, such as healers, disruptors, and tanks, have distinct capabilities and abilities in the game and fit specific roles in offensive and defensive tactics. Equipping specialized minions improves their stats and combat and hunting performance. There are a variety of minion kinds in each location, and you can get those minions according to their skills and efficacy in defending your base.
Let’s take a look at the best servants you can find in each location.
Farbane Woods
It is hard to find great servants in the Farbane Woods. To assist with early tasks, you may deploy a Rogue or Brute early on, but these will probably be replaced soon.
Dunley Farmlands
The Dunley Farmlands provide a greater assortment of minions for more useful servant positions. There are a number of excellent choices for servants in the Dunley Farmlands who can assist with base defense and other duties. With their charging attacks and shields, Militia Brutes are very useful because they can operate in different mining areas.
Militia Archers are helpful in PvP scenarios because they can shoot fire arrows, but they are a little dangerous because their fire can also damage your own troops. Rogues are also good options in this field.
Because they can cure you and your servants and because of their sacred resilience, nuns are advantageous in early to mid-game PvP as they increase cotton output by making it simpler to access cotton crops.
Gloomrot
Because they can draw attackers toward you and your other servants, tractor-beam shield guys are regarded as the best servants in the Gloomrot region when it comes to protection.
It is not necessary to have many, but it is advised to have at least one. Flamethrower troops may also set numerous adversaries on flames, which makes them extremely effective. Conversely, except for maybe the pistol whip guys in the silver mine, rogue zapper guys are not as helpful in defense.
Cursed Forest
The only potential servants in the Cursed Forest are the villagers who have transformed into werewolves. These folks are located close to the Southern teleporter. These villagers are human during the day, and you can catch them and bring them back to your fortress to work as servants.
Depending on the time of day, they may also be held as prisoners in order to supply worker and creature blood. But because they do not turn into werewolves when defending, these villagers are useless for base defense. They could change form and escape during early access, however, this capability has been eliminated.
Silverlight Hills
There are plenty of good units for servants in the Bright Haven region, such as lightweavers, paladins, clerics, and maybe priests. Paladins stand out among them because of their strong melee attacks and strength.
Lightweavers are powerful attacking units because of their mobility and area-of-effect spells. Because they can heal allies, including yourself, during battle and use both ranged attacks and stuns, clerics are especially useful for base defense.
Although priests are favored by certain players due to their skills, clerics are typically thought to be more effective and adaptable in defensive positions. There are also riflemen here, albeit they are not as useful by themselves. In addition, if you require a rogue for a particular job, you might want to consider the pistol whip people from the silver mine.
Ruins of Mortium
The only two kinds of minions found in the Ruins of Mortium are succubi and duelists, also known as executioners. Succubi are renowned for their charm ability, which may both bother and help enemies by annoying them.
On the other hand, duelists are vampires who fight with swords. Because they can incapacitate opponents, avoid attacks, and have range abilities, they are useful for base defense. Duelists and succubi should be mixed together for a well-balanced configuration.
Best Base Setup for PvP
