If you’re not fighting you’re out gathering, having multiple options is always a staple in open-world games like Wild Hearts. After all, the equipment you make does perform better most of the time compared to the ones simply given to you progression.

But as for most video game titles that give you complete freedom to roam about in the wild, the problem arises when you have too much freedom.

It can get confusing at times to look for certain materials like the Silken Thread given that there are five boroughs you can travel to, but in this guide that all goes away!

Where to Find Silken Thread | Silken Thread Location | Wild Hearts

If you’re going to craft good armor sets then Silken Threads should definitely be one of the materials you need to have a close eye on.

Like any other material, Silken Thread can be found in a specific environment within the world.

You can find Silken Thread in Akikure Canyon, just southwest of Fuyufusagi Fort. Other materials that can be found here are Mirror Stones and Pointed Scales.

You’re looking for a white plant sticking out of the ground along the main road near your starting campsite.

More deposits can be found on the Sad Shrine Grounds and over at Ishinishidō Temple.

Surprisingly, you can find more Silken Threads growing on wooden surfaces like the one on the temple’s second floor. Be sure to gather these at your earliest convenience to lessen the trips you have to take for later.

Silken Thread can be sold for a reasonable price on the market but it’s preferable that you think about crafting for yourself first.

Those are the locations you can easily get Silken Thread from, for once you can get them without any effort aside from walking.

Now go out there and start farming!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
