The Monster Hunter series has always been a niche genre in video games, it’s so niche that people still call games like it either Monster Hunter-likes or the generic term of Hack and Slash Adventure games.

Still, there are some other games in the genre and Wild Hearts is one of the newest addition.

Made by the same developers that made the Dynasty Warriors series and published by EA it’s a game about hunting monsters in a fantasy Japan.

The game features amazing graphics that can test the limits of your hardware and a co-op mode where you can progress through the story together.

In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Small scales!

Small Scale Locations | How to Get Small Scale In Wild Hearts

There are a lot of different monsters you can hunt in Wild Hearts, from small critters to giant monsters. All of them have some juicy loot inside of them that you can use to make yourself stronger via gear so it’s good to know where to find certain items!

One of the items you can find are small scales and this is where you can find them.

Small Scales can be found by going to the Harugasumi Way map. There you’ll need to head to the southwestern part of the map shown below.

That’s where the monsters that drop the Small Scales can be found.

The Drop rate for the items themselves can be around 50% so you might need to kill a couple more to get the amount you want.

Or you can do what I do and spend too much time in the area getting the same thing despite only needing some of it!
