Wild Hearts is out and now people with a developed sense of style are all over the place trying to figure out how to unlock new weapon sets, be it for putting down Kemonos or making an attempt to mix and match articles of clothing.

Sometimes it can get confusing when it comes to unlocking different kinds of weapons, especially with a new game since you don’t have a wiki to consult yet. What do you need to do? Scale a wall? Take down a bear? Well, we have the answer just for you in this here guide!

Unlock New Weapons | Get Hand Cannon, Claw Blade, Karakuri Staff | Wild Hearts

As you progress through the game you should be rewarded accordingly for your efforts, next thing you need to worry about is figuring out which person to talk to.

Akikure Canyon is huge so it might take a while, but the answer is closer than you think!

At this point in the game, you should have already defeated the Earthbreaker boss and finished the festival. Once those objectives are checked off, go back and check in with Natsume.

When she asks about how well-equipped you are, tell her you need to have a weapon forged.

When you’re on the selection screen navigate toward the plus icon and another group of choices will be presented to you.

Here you can choose the following weapons:

  • Hand Cannon: an appropriate weapon if you like blowing things away at the cost of low mobility
  • Claw Blade: the best weapon if you prefer chipping your opponent’s HP away through DPS
  • Karakuri Staff: choose this if you like watching animations while fighting.

You can come back here anytime if a different weapon tickles your fancy, for now, it’s best to get a feel for what you like using before you progress further into the game.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
