New World continues to be updated with changes and content. The July 2022 patch has added a significant number of changes that have improved the game. This has simultaneously changed some things that you may not be aware of. Nevertheless, we are here to help you navigate these changes and learn how to use them. For this guide, we will teach you how to use the new crafting and refining system, as well as new drop locations in the July 2022 patch.
Crafting & Refining Gear Farming As Well As New Drop Locations Guide – New World
With the new July 2022 update, players can now earn Patterns in game. With these Patterns, you can now craft items from a set. For example, the Patter: Weaponsmithing Clothing item will allow you to craft the Weaponsmith Shirt, Weaponsmith Shoes, Weaponsmith Gloves, Weaponsmith Hat, and Weaponsmith Hat.
Collecting five Patterns of the same gear set will allow you to craft all of the items available in that set. When you do have all patterns (or you have one and would prefer to have new gear and save it for later), take the pattern and go to the Outfitter’s Station to craft a gear piece.
You can get Patterns in the game by opening Aptitude Crates, but the drop rate is incredibly low and the grinding can take a long time. One can argue that the patterns may not be worth it, but they are. It’s advised to just simply hope for the best when opening an Aptitude Crate. If you don’t get one, then don’t sweat it. Just continue on and hope for the best next time.
Next, we’ll talk about the newly added gear sets in the game. These sets are used to increase refining and crafting. If you’re interested in getting the best chance for your gear, then we’ll help you find them. First off is the refining sets.
