The MMORPG New World didn’t have the best launch, but it certainly didn’t have the worst. Over the years though the game has constantly been fixed and updated. New weapons are being added, new armor sets, new gameplay and new events are being added every now and then. Even now there’s a Halloween event going on and there’s a unique quest that comes with it. This new quest brings new themed armors and weapons in the game and in this guide, we’ll show you how the Halloween event goes and what kind of weapons you can get from the event!
Halloween Event Guide & Weapons | New World
So, to start the Halloween even you’ll first need to go to any major town and look for the NPC called “Salvatore.” You can’t miss him since he’s usually next to a large pot of boiling green liquid with other Halloween decorations around him.
Talking to him you can learn more about the event, the in-lore explanation of how the event started and so on. He is also the person that will give you the quest for the event which is a fairly simple quest all things considered.
All you need to do is accept the quest and go check the map for the icon shown on the image below.
This is a world boss so it’s highly suggested that you either group up with friends and fight it, or you go and check with other players if anyone else is doing the world boss and just join in. After defeating the target it’ll drop an item called “Baalphazu Ichor” which you then need to go back to town and use the giant pot.
Just walk up the stairs next to the pot and interact with the pot to put the ichor in it. For every piece of Ichor, you’ll get a token and a box, the box contains more tokens and a pattern that’s unique to the event!
You can then talk to Salvatore and use the tokens to buy other patterns. There are plenty of patterns for any kind of weapon and you can even sell the patterns in the market. I would advise selling it during the event though and wait until the event is over so the price will increase.
