The Amazon MMORPG New World didn’t get the best start compared to other MMOs out there. Despite the billion-dollar company backing it up the game had a rough launch, with a lackluster and grindy progression system and a whole laundry list of bugs that can give Fallout 76 flashbacks. This game isn’t abandoned though and is still getting regular updates, and even now it’s shaping up to be a good MMORPG. There are still some problems here and there but the developers of New World have been hard at work in fixing bugs, glitches and bad game design choices so that the game can be better. With the newest update we’ll talk about the Golden Scarab, a game changer in crafting.
How To Get Golden Scarab In New World
What is the Golden Scarab in New World? Well to understand what it does you first need to understand how crafting works. In high level crafting you can make gear and items with perks, these perks are usually random meaning that if you want something for your build, you’ll need to sometimes craft items repeatedly to get the right perk.
This can become a grind, but with the new Golden Scarabs introduced in the game you can now craft items and pick the perks you want, albeit with a higher crafting cost. There is still the random Gear score, but picking the perks is a massive step up in reducing the grind in the game.
So where can you find these scarabs? Well, you can find them in any chest on any elite points of interests in Brimstone Sands, the new area in the game. When you open these chests you have a 5% chance of getting these golden scarabs.
