New World is keeping its tradition of having its celebrations of year seasons. Just like we had the winter fair before, right now we are celebrating summer with lots of songs and music! Let’s see what you can do at this Summer Medleyfaire this time.
Summer Medleyfaire Event Complete Guide – New World
Suppose you are wondering, yes. The Summer Medleyfaire is actually a summer version from the winter event. It does offer some changes and some new exciting things, but mostly it’s the same and just themed for a summer vibe.
To begin to start clearing and finishing what this event has to offer, you will start with visiting each of the dismal bestowments. These can be found in each village in each territory of the map. Again very much like the Christmas Event, these are mounds of gifts in the center of each town.
It will contain various rewards associated with the event which is always nice. Something like tokens, coins, patterns for gear, etc. Interaction with these will gain you an Event Reputation. So make sure to do this.
The biggest thing that you want to be focusing on, something that you’ll be using like a currency in this event, is the Medleyfaire Token. You can convert these in the Medleyfaire places. Something like 25 tokens for a grand token and vice versa. You will need also Azoth this time for a premium token. You can get these from:
- Daily dismal bestowments.
- 50 modeling dusk for a token – this is when you complete a model and bug swarm. They spawn all around the map and when you approach one you’ll get an invitation to begin the event.
Fishing
You’ll need to play music here. The better you play the more you get. After you complete it, it will disperse the dust all around the area. Actually, the whole area will begin looking much more fertile and beautiful.
- Aeternum Sturgeon Filet – you can exchange 10 fillets per token. You can gather these fillets from the festival by fishing.
- Brilliant Aeternum Sturgeon Scale – if you turn 3 of these you will get 1 premium token in return. These are also collected from fishing
Fishing during the Medleyfair is something that you’ll see even very early in the quest chain in this fair. You will get a bait after completing a quest and use this one for fishing to gather a lot of resources. In this way, you can farm until you have the desired amount that can be turned into Medleyfair Tokens.
You will also get Pristine Soaked Wood, Assorted Seagrass, and Stuffing. These are not junk items so do not go throwing them away. Instead, go to the medley fair villages and you can craft three different displays using them:
- Great
- Glorious
- Magnificient
These are stands that you can use to mount the fish that you have caught before. Kinda like a trophy. They are actually very cool statues looking like things, not the boring mounds from before.
The Shop
There are tons of cool new items that you’ll want to collect from this fair. You can find everything from food decorations, to home skins and patterns, you can purchase the fish trophy items that are needed, etc.
There is a reputation system that unlocks more and more of the items that you can buy. Once you reach the maximum amount of this, you’ll actually have way more stuff for buying them before. You can get some patterns that are very unique and rare and extremely useful because they are guaranteed to roll a gear score of 600.
You can make amazing gear with these unique skins and also another great way to max out your expertise.
A couple of big ways of getting a huge boost in the reputation is through:
- Dancing – you will see in the Medleyfare villages a dancing option and interaction in front of the musicians. Just dance until the meter is full. You can do this every 11 hours at each camp
- Quest Chain – just go at it one step at a time, and you’ll be getting tons of reputation this way
So just make sure to stockpile as many tokens as possible so you can get the most out of this Fair before it is gone.
