New World: Weaponsmithing Guide 0-200

Weaponsmithing is another class that you can level up when you play New World. It is also one of the most useful and profitable classes in the game. Useful because at high levels, you can craft the strongest weapons in the game for yourself. Profitable because players will come to you and ask you to craft a specific weapon for them, letting you set the fee for your service. However, you can’t get any clients if you are at a low level. In this guide, we will show you how to level up your Weaponsmithing to the max level.

Weaponsmithing Guide 0-200 – New World

This guide will be crafting a set of items in order to reach a specific level. The items you will be crafting will have the necessary resources you need in order to craft. These items are chosen to be crafted because they are all considered the cheapest way to do this method of leveling up.

Bear in mind that the resources price might vary from server to server. If things are too expensive, then we suggest that you wait a bit until the prices in your server go down. That way, you won’t have to spend too much.

For level 0 to 50, you will have to craft 100 Iron Round Shield. Before you get to crafting, consider mixing in Town Boards quests. This will help in crafting a lot. Also, respec the Focus to 100, as doing this will get 10% more mats back when you salvage them. After doing all of that, then you need the following resources to craft the 100 iron Round Shields.

700x Iron Ingots
200x Timber
100x Coarse Leather

For level 50 to 100, you will have to craft 173 Steel Warhammers. You will need the following resources.

2249x Steel Ingots
2257x Charcoal
519x Timber
346x Coarse Leather

For level 100 to 150, you will need to craft 231 Starmetal Great Axes. You will need the following resources to craft them:

3234x Starmetal Ingots
693x Timber
462x Coarse Leather

For level 150 to 200, you can craft either 374 Orichalcum Hammers or Garden Keeper War Hammer. The Orichalcum War Hammer method is considered tough to do as you will need a lot of Orichalcum Ingots to do this, and they are already pretty rare resources to get.

The Garden Keeper War Hammer is a viable option as well. Not only does it use the same mats as the Orichalcum War Hammer, it grants almost 21k XP per hammer crafted, while the Orichalcum War Hammer only grants 16k XP. However, you will need to have 10 Sticky Vines and 6 Putrid Barks to craft the Garden Keeper War Hammer.

We recommend using whatever Orichalcum Ingots you have to craft as many Orichalcum War Hammers you can craft, then for the final stretch to 200, do Garden Keeper War Hammer.
