Living in Burrows Quest Location (YBL-1 Bunker)
To start off the Living in Burrows Quest in Gray Zone Warfare, you’ll need to make your way to the correct location. So, you’ll be heading to the YBL-1 Bunker that can be found on the Mithras Map. We have it shown on the map below. The exact coordinates of this area are: (143, 122).
Additionally, you want to make your way to the correct entrance. If you zoom in on the YBL-1 Bunker on the map, you’ll be able to see the labels for two entrances. One of these is the Storage Entrance and the other is the Main Entrance.
For this quest, you’ll be heading to the Storage Entrance. You can find a truck and some cargo containers near this entrance. Be on guard as this area is heavily guarded with a lot of enemies. We recommend that you first deal with the enemies here so that they don’t make this quest too much of a hassle.
Make sure you also check their pockets after they’re killed for any keys. These keys will help as you’ll see later for the second objective of the Living in Burrows Quest. Once you’re done with this quest, you might want to check out The Negotiator Quest in the area too.
Navigate to Water Filtration Room
As part of the Living in Burrows Quest, you’ll basically need to complete two main objectives. The first of these will require you to check on the water filtration unit. To find this system, you’ll need to head to the Water Filtration Room.
Start by entering the YBL-1 Bunker through the Storage Entrance. After that, head straight down the long corridor ahead as shown below.
Once the corridor ends, turn left and right, and continue down the second long corridor as well. When this second corridor ends, turn right and you’ll see a door that leads to the stairwell.
Enter inside and make your way down the stairwell of the bunker.
Once you’re downstairs, exit the stairwell and turn to the left. You’ll see a door with a red light, straight ahead. Enter through this door.
After you go through this door, you’ll see two other doors that you can enter on your left and right side. Select the one on the right side. You should be able to see the Water Filtration Room sign on the left side of this door too.
Check Water Filtration Unit State (First Objective)
Once you’ve entered the Water Filtration Room, look towards the left. You should be able to see a machine with some pipes and dials. This is the Water Filtration Unit.
Simply approach this machine and select the Check The State option. Doing so will tick the first objective of the Living in Burrows Quest. Next, you’ll need to do the same for the Generator Room – which we’ll look at next.
Obtain YBL-1 Generator Room Key
Before you can make your way to the Generator, you’ll actually need a specific key. This is the YBL-1 Generator Room Key.
You can find this key on dead enemies’ pockets that you kill inside the YBL-1 Bunker area. Make sure to loot the pockets of any enemies that you down. You should get your hands on it eventually. Our How To Get Keys guide can also provide you with more detailed information if you’re still having trouble with this part!
Navigate to the Generator Room (Use Key)
Exit the Water Filtration Unit Room, and make your way through the door on the left. You’ll be back in the long hallway that comes after the stairwell.
Once you’re in the hallway, head to the left. Go ahead in this hallway and you’ll see two doors on the left with red lights on the top. You want to make your way to the door that is further ahead. It’s shown in the image below. You’ll also see the Generator Control Room sign on the left side of this door.
Approach this door and you’ll see that it’s locked. Interact with it and you’ll see the option to unlock it using the YBL-1 Generator Key. Select this option and the door will unlock. You’re almost done with the quest! There is another quest nearby in the Mithras Area – in the form of the One Shot One Kill Quest that also has a lot of action.
Check Generator State (Second Objective)
Once you’ve opened the Generator Control Room, head inside. You’ll see the Generator on the right side with the same dials that you saw in the previous room.
Approach the generator and the option to Check The State will pop up. Select this option and you’ll have completed the second objective. Completing both the objectives will complete the Living in Burrows Quest!
That’s everything you need to know about completing the Living in Burrows Quest in Gray Zone Warfare. This quest has you doing quite a lot compared to some of the more menial quests in the Mithras area. For example, there is the Carnivore Quest that will have you getting some samples from a fridge!
